Message This post is mainly for those of you looking for a cheap solution for exhaust setups. Most of my piping was past the resonators was rotted out and as a student in high school, I don't exactly have the funds to blow a thousand bucks on a nice LaBree/Specialty Z catback so I went with the ever popular (at least amongst the Honda crowd) ebay special.

Cost:
$83 for both mufflers shipped
$140 for installation (including new piping up to where the stock resonators end)
Total: $223

All in all, can't beat that price. Sounds good while retaining the OEM look with quad tips, but the larger size and chrome-look make refreshes the rear end nicely. I'll admit the drone is pretty bad around 2k rpm, but that is easily remedied with some music or a heavier foot! Also every now and then I'll hear the exhaust scrape on something, but I don't think its a big deal.

And now for the good part! Sound clips.

As for performance gains, I do notice a little increase in torque in the low end, but that's probably because she isn't breathing through tiny holes in the exhaust! Also seems to help smooth out some rough idling issues I have (one injector seems to be slightly out of spec at 17 ohms, gonna replace in the winter).

Let me know what you think!
